Please click on the title to go to the full worship page. Welcome to our online Ash Wednesday Service. If you have not pick up a "to-go" Planting Hope Station, please contact Pastor Lori and we can make arrangements for you to pick one up. We will be talking about the growing plants throughout Lent, so it is never too late to get one started. In the meantime, you can still worship, and during the Imposition of the Ashes, at home, I invite you to get a little dirt, maybe from a plant in your house, or even find a dusty surface in your house (I am sure I am not the only one with a dusty house!) And use that to make the sign of the cross on your hand. Or simply make the sign of the cross in the air. Go ahead and light a candle, invite God into your time of worship. You might want to read along n your own Bible, or get a journal or piece of paper to reflect on. Or pause and have conversation with whomever you are worshipping at home with. I am glad you are here. Invitation to Lenten Disciplines, a Reading from Joel, Opening Prayer and Call to Worship: Taizé Songs are meant to be prayers in themselves, as so the refrains are repetitive for you to internalize and sing along. Feel free to rewind and play it over and over again! Come and Fill our Hearts and Psalm 51 Take a moment to reflect on the Psalm. What words are speaking to you today? Listen again if you need to, and hear God's message in the words of the psalm for your life and your faith during this season of Lent. Hear this Litany for you today. How do the words and the spoken words and the song lyrics speak to you today? We Come: A Litany for Ash Wednesday, and O Lord Hear My Prayer Our next Scripture reading is from Isaiah, followed by another taizé song. What do you think about the darkness and the light? How will the light be our hope this year? Where is God's light shin gin in your life? Hear this blessing and let the words speak to you as you consider the ashes, the dust of the earth and the glitter that helps us shine in the darkness and play in the dirt of hope. This is the time that you will plant the seeds and mark yourself with the cross of God's promises. And as you go out, Sing along with our final Taizé Song, Lord Jesus Christ. Let the words speak to your hearts, and then hear these final words from 2Corinthians and the Benediction. Please feel free to leave comments below, as a place to share your worship experience with others. Let us have a Lent full of Hope! And I hope you are able to get seed and have a plant to care for throughout Lent. Blessings- Pastor Lori
We have recorded the Celebration of Life Service for Tony Scoglietti, due the the Covid 19 concerns, and wanted those who were not comfortable to be able to participate from home. Below the service is the video tribute from our church members, who wanted to share their favorite things about Tony and a special memory. Please feel free to leave comments for the church family and for Tony's family, especially Linda. You will need to "create an account" to leave a post. But, I PROMISE you, we do not do anything with that information Remembering Tony: Feel free to leave your comments below: Blessings- Pastor Lori

I want to welcome Bishop Palmer as our guest preacher this week. I explain in the worship how and why he is “joining us”. Also thank you to Amy Enloe and Jen Messaros for serving as music leaders. Our Special Music this week is a piece from Jen Messaros on recorder, one that she shared with us in the spring.
We have a lot of prayer concerns to share this week, and if you have some we need to share with the church, please let me know, and Amy will send those out with the Tuesday Joys and Concerns Email. Specific Prayers that I will ask you to lift up: Linda Scoglietti, as she mourns for the loss of Tony. An unnamed prayer for a member in the hospital with breathing issues, another facing upcoming surgery, prayers for our West Ohio Board of Ministry (which I am on) as we interview candidates for credentialing on Monday and Tuesday, and for the candidates, as well. Continue to pray for our Country, and for all of those who are suffering and struggling during this Pandemic.
Worship is posted here, and the Children’s Message is posted separately just below, for families to watch with their kids apart from the longer worship. Let us worship the Lord. Here is the Children's Message for this week: Thank you for worshipping this week. We hope to be back in person and live streaming on Sunday, February 14 at 10:30. Be on the lookout for announcements, as we need to be nimble and make changes as the Covid Case numbers shift. Have a blessed week!- Pastor Lori
