Welcome to our online worship for January 10, 2021.
Today is the Baptism of our Lord Sunday, and we will also be remembering our baptism. So, before worship gets started, I invite you to get a small bowl of water, and have it with you as you watch worship, so that you can participate in remembering your baptism at home.
I want to thank Judy Mack for being our liturgist today. To the Gliebe’s for a piece they shared with us in March that is worth watching again, as we build up our special music resources after Advent and Christmas Eve. Also thank you to Amy Enloe and Jen Messaros for servicing as music leaders.
During the prayer time, know that I will be lifting up prayers for our nation as we recover from the events on the Capitol on Wednesday. I did not mention this, as most of worship was already recorded before this occurred, and I believe I cover most of my reaction in the Thursday Church-wide email. I am still reeling from the range of feelings that accompanied this.
The complete worship is posted here, and the Children’s Message alone, for families to watch with their kids, is posted below.
Please use the Attendance Sheet by clicking on the image to the left of this, to help us keep track of who is worshipping with us today. It is a simple Google Form, I hope it works for you. If not, feel free to use the Let’s Chat button below, or send me a quick email. I am glad that you are worshipping with us today.
Let us worship the Lord.
Here is the Children's Message for this week: New Life in Jesus, with Keri.
I hope you have a great week, and don't forget, if you didn't get a Baptism Reminder Tag to let me know. We can make arrangements to get you one.
Be sure to share Joys and Concerns with us, so we can share them with the congregation.
Prayers for this week: Continue to pray for Tony and Linda S., Tony is still in the hospital on oxygen. Linda is at home, but needs prayers.
Bob A. is home from the hospital. Continue to pray for strength.
Judy W's brother is still in the hospital, in ICU. Continue to pray for his healing, and pray for Judy as she continues to worry about him.
Continue to pray for Linda and Rolland K's family.
Pray for our nation. Pray for peace, and pray for guidance in how we can work to bring peace.
Pray for Elizabeth R. who is having some added health concerns at this time.
Pray for an unnamed prayer.
Thanks for shepherding us! And for the dose of peace.
